Sightseeing of Thassos Studios Anemos

Anemos is 12 km away from Thassos (or Limenas, the name of the main village on island).

Visit Panagia, a village with traditional architecture and the old Orthodox Church of Mother Mary’s Assumption. Find close to Church the tree water springs.

Find a chance to see the modern sculpture gallery of a famous artist, Polygnotos Vagis at Potamia village. Then set yourself to discover Alyki. Here you may see ancient remains and marble quarries close to seawater. Follow the road to south part and reach the Monastery of Archagellos.

Theologos is a traditional village (with a folklore museum). Continue the round trip of island and get to Limenas Thassos. Put in order to clime up the hill and visit the ancient theater and archaeological museum. Watch drama performances during the summertime (Greek Festival of Philippi and Thassos).
